The Dr. Wes Curry Awards were created in 2018 to recognize diverse emergency medicine physicians and administrators who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, collaboration, innovation, and culture. Nominations are accepted from academic and community institutions, for individuals holding national, regional, or community leadership roles.
The award is named for Wesley Curry, MD, FACEP, who cofounded the Executive Leadership Diversity Summit, served as Chief Executive Officer of Vituity for 19 years, and served in many industry leadership roles. Dr. Curry is an inspiring leader and mentor to many leaders in emergency medicine.
