Emeryville, CA (October 1, 2024) – Vituity proudly announces the 2024 Dr. Wes Curry Award recipients, recognizing excellence and leadership in emergency medicine. The awards were presented at the Vituity/ACEP Executive Leadership Diversity Summit in Las Vegas during the ACEP24 Annual Meeting.
Named in honor of Dr. Wes Curry, these prestigious awards celebrate emergency medicine physicians and administrators who exemplify leadership, collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to diversity. An emergency medicine pioneer, Dr. Wes Curry dedicated his career to improving patient care, fostering collaboration, and mentoring future leaders. The 2024 award recipients continue his legacy by driving change and excellence in their fields.

Executive Leadership Awards
Dr. Reginald Nesbitt, MD, MBA — Vice President and Regional Medical Officer, SCP Health
Dr. Reginald Nesbitt is an accomplished healthcare executive and emergency physician with extensive leadership experience. A graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Dr. Nesbitt has held roles such as Department Chair, Medical Director, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Integration Officer. His leadership extends to a multistate medical practice and a telehealth startup.
Dr. Andrea White Green, MD, FACEP — Medical Director, University Medical Center Emergency Departments (El Paso, Texas)
With over 30 years of leadership experience, Dr. Andrea White Green is a champion of mentoring, diversity, and health equity. She has led initiatives like ACEP's Diversity, Inclusion, and Health Equity (DIHE) Section and served as the past president of the Texas College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. White Green’s focus on mentoring and leadership development has inspired her work, including her role in creating webinars, mentorship programs, and educational toolkits to address healthcare disparities.
Dr. Jenice Forde-Baker, MD, FACEP — Chair of Emergency Medicine, Pennsylvania Hospital
Dr. Jenice Forde-Baker is a recognized leader in emergency medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital, known for her commitment to patient care and medical excellence. As an active member of NJ-ACEP, she has received numerous grants for her research on women's leadership, the gender wage gap, and violence in emergency medicine. A dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, Dr. Forde-Baker has delivered grand rounds on topics such as Scientific Racism. In 2021, she made history as the first Black president of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians since its founding in 1972. She is the Chair of Emergency Medicine and Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Penn Emergency Medicine, Pennsylvania Hospital.
Social Justice Award
Dr. Alfredo Guerrero, DO — Medical Director, Emergency Medicine, Adventist Health Delano; Associate Program Director, Health Equity, Vituity
Dr. Guerrero is a recognized leader in health equity and emergency medicine and has significantly contributed to improving healthcare access for underserved communities. He completed Vituity's Administrative Fellowship and was key in developing and implementing a Health Equity curriculum for resident education. Additionally, he is a mentor for MiMentor's Health Equity Fellowship and is passionate about creating strategies to operationalize health equity in healthcare systems.
Service Excellence Award
